Neighborhood Threat

Let me be the three millionth person to put this photo on their blog today:

14 innings. I can say something dumb like, that was the best game I ever saw, and that's not an overstatement (people around me who know far more about this than I do were saying it was one of the best games they ever saw), but it doesn't even come close to describing it.

I need to start bringing my camera to games.

[There needs to be an extra innings beer exception. Like, if they're basically going to start ANOTHER GAME we should be allowed to buy beer until the 7th inning of that segment.]

Mets Workout Day at Shea, 4-2-06

Today was the day. The first day 2006 tickets went on sale for Mets season ticket holders, and therefore the day I drove out to Shea and went out into the stadium to evaluate potential seating locations.

This is the view from our -- OUR! -- seats for the 2006 season. Can I get a "hell, yeah?"
